Wheels, braces, & shoes . . .

Yesterday we finally got Wil's wheelchair back* da du duhhhhh* I need some music here to celebrate this monumental occasion. The battery in Wil's wheelchair busted back in December and yesterday we finally got it. It took so long because of all the stupid paper work *medicaid*. It so frustrates me, I'm actually shocked that they decided to pay for it to be fixed. We were able to get rid of the loner wheelchair that we had, it was so heavy and bulky. I am grateful though that it was loned to us. Wil was smiling from ear to ear when he got into his chair, he missed it. Our house isn't designed for the wheelchair so he is suppose to use his crutches. Yeah . . . . he prefers to crawl. Yesterday I told him everyday that he crawls and doesn't use the crutches he will lose all computer time that day. I should of spanked him, it would have been easier. lol He cried and cried and cried. He loves the computer and if I'd let him he'd be on it all day.
He also got his new braces and shoes. This year he got red straps and motorcycles for his orthotics and he chose some cool light up shoes. His wheels are fixed and he has some new *kicks* he is ready to conquer the world! *da du duhhhhhh* this is that music part again.
